TeSoAria Winery Opening Tasting Room on N. Williams

Roseburg winery TeSoAria will soon debut a tasting room/bar in N.Williams and Shaver's still-under-construction Mt. Shasta Building (a stone's throw from the Box Social). According to TeSoAria's Jeff Tefelske, the 1,300-square-foot space will feature a 30-foot-long bar that surrounds an open kitchen, "similar to when you have guests at home and everyone stations themselves in the kitchen area." Devil's Food Catering alum Max Germano will spearhead the food menu, designed (unsurprisingly) to pair with the wines — "this won't be cheese and sausage type of place," Tefelske says. Current plans are to station six wine barrels in the space (which can be tapped for tastings and wine sales by the glass, bottle, or growler), with the long bar allowing for different tasting stations.

"Our brand tends to be younger than a lot of our other wineries, so the urban location made more sense," Tefelske says of the Portland tasting room. "We love the energy of the North Williams area." TeSoAria is aiming for a November opening.
