New, 3 comments

PDX INTERNATIONAL—Central Eastside distillery House Spirits has announced plans to open its second retail location and tasting room — in PDX airport. The outpost, which promises to "mirror its headquarters on Distillery Row," is slated for a space just past security in Concourse D, and will offer bottles for purchase, on-site tastings, and other local artisan products. Projected opening: later this month. [EaterWire]

NORTHEAST—Serious Eats offers this slideshow of the opening cocktail menu at Kyle Webster and Naomi Pomeroy's new NE bar Expatriate, which Webster says was born out of wanting to "create a space that encourages interaction outside of the digital life we've grown accustomed to." [Serious Eats]
