Grub Street drops its list of the 58 Extraordinary Coffee Shops Around America, and five Portland spots made the list: Barista, Coava, Courier Coffee, Heart, and Ristretto Roasters. Portland's strong showing comes as no surprise considering some of the panelists: Onetime PDX chef Matthew Lightner and Stumptown's Duane Sorenson were among the contributors, with Lightner calling Courier the "quintessential Portland" coffeeshop.
