Developer Kevin Cavenaugh, who brought six "micro-restaurants" to NE Portland in his restaurant complex the Ocean, has his sights on St. Johns. The Oregonian reports that Cavenaugh's long-stewing mixed-use project on a vacant brownfield, called the Two-Thirds Project, will contain three restaurants among its mix of office space and apartments. Per the O: "Cavenaugh has a few lease agreements in place, though he said he cannot name his prospective tenants yet."
Cavenaugh's Ocean complex successfully attracted tenants already well-known in the Portland dining scene, including restaurateurs Oswaldo Bibiano, Adam Berger, andRob Hemmerling , all of whom operate their mini-concepts in the space. More on the Two-Thirds Project as it becomes available.
