WEST END— The smoothie-slingers at Kure Juice Bar have opened a to-go bottle shop inside SW 13th's fashionable retail outlet Mojave: The Kure Bottle Shop offers Kure's line of cold-pressed juice, some vegan/raw treats, and serves as another pick-up site for Kure's cleanse subscribers. According to a Facebook announcement, the bottle shop is the first of "several similar locations" planned for Kure in the coming months. [EaterWire]

BEAVERTON— As promised, the owners of Beaverton's Decarli recently swung open the doors at their new project, a brewpub called Watson Hall. The Oregonian reports the spot serves lunch (or brunch) and dinner six days a week, with snacks like Chinese sausage corn dogs, a six-item sandwich menu, and "plates" including fried chicken pot pie and steak frites. More information at the official site. [OregonLive]

VARIOUS LOCATIONS— The churners at Salt & Straw will celebrate Elvis Presley's birthday today (January 8) with appearances by "Elvis" at all three shops, starting at 6p.m. (at the SE Division location). The party continues with scoops of S&S's Elvis-themed flavor: peanut butter cookie dough ice cream with banana custard, candied bacon bits, and marionberry jam. Get Elvis's visiting schedule here.
