There are still a few tickets left to Thursday night's Portland Food Adventures at The Country Cat. It's the first time Adam and Jackie Sappington have hosted a PFA, but you can expect six courses of their signature Northwest take on Southern classics, including a few dishes that aren't on the restaurant's usual menu.
Like other PFA events, the chefs will be on hand to interact with guests, and everyone leaves with $50 in gift certificates to a few of Adam and Jackie's favorite places. This time, it's Smallwares, Por Que No and Flying Pie Pizzeria.
The event will be held in The Country Cat's new Calico Room event space, located two doors down in the former Pastrygirl bakery. The room offers AV equipment and seating for 40 (60 standing). When it isn't booked for a private event, the Sappingtons plan to host cooking and butchery classes, plus pop-up dinners.
The Oct.16 Portland Food Adventures event starts at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $125 per person, which includes pairings, tip and $50 in gift certificates. Click here for tickets.
