The Caffeine Crawl is Coming Our Way

Sip your way through the city's best coffee and tea shops.

Emily McIntyre/EPDX

Coffee geeks, this week's for you.

Coffee Fest, the largest coffee and tea expo in the country, arrives in Portland on Friday, bringing a wave of industry professionals to our bean-roasting paradise, and inspiring at least one spin-off event even non-industry plebs like us can attend.

Now in its fourth year, the Caffeine Crawl is a roving event that pops up in cities around the U.S., offering a pub crawl-like experience, but for coffee, tea, and chocolate lovers. Pick one of the 4-hour sessions on Thursday Oct. 16 or Friday Oct. 17, then choose from one of three routes available during each session. You'll get to stop at six different places for a presentation, samples and a swag bag. Participating shops include Steven Smith Teamaker, Alma Chocolate, Coava, Barista and more.

Tickets cost $30. Click here for the complete schedule and to purchase tickets.
