Portland is Popping Up All Over Cable TV

Cooking Channel today, Bravo tomorrow, and Travel Channel is filming this week (and you can get in on the action).

Cable TV shows can't get enough of Portland.

Although you shouldn't need any reminding, the next episode of Bravo's Top Chef airs tomorrow night at 10 p.m. pacific. And in case you've been living under a rock, it features two Portland chefs: Gregory Gourdet of Departure and Doug Adams of Imperial. You can check out all of our Top Chef coverage here.

This week, The Travel Channel show Food Paradise has been filming around Portland, stopping by Lardo to visit Rick Gencarelli, and hitting Kenny & Zuke's tomorrow. If you want to get in on the action, stop in for lunch at K&Z tomorrow, Oct. 22, between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The restaurant will give you 10% off your bill and you might even spot yourself on TV when the episode airs.

Today Division Street's restaurant row got the spotlight on the Cooking Channel show Chuck's Eat the Street. The show hit Sunshine Tavern, Sen Yai, Block & Tackle, and The Woodsman Tavern. Although the "Planet Portland" episode aired at 2 p.m. (5 p.m. eastern) today, it will be rebroadcast on November 28 at 4 p.m. pacific. Get a taste with this web-exclusive clip of MoonBrine Pickles.
