Besides its quite dependable and reliable cheeseburger — a truly tasty Portland sleeper — Paymaster is all about games. It's home to Ms. Pac-Man, four pinball machines, an outdoor covered patio pool table and a vending machine, which for a couple of dollars, will cough up a deck of playing cards for not-so-serious games of hearts or euchre, or a deck of tarot cards for when you're feeling very serious.

But Paymaster is also one of the few spots in town where you can play Sunday night rounds of bingo on the regs, and the only place in town where those bingo rounds promise to get you "mad laid." After four months of can't-miss bingo every Sunday night, the staff is regrouping and giving themselves a much needed breather: Between now and whenever the weather warms back up, bingo will only happen on the second Sunday of every month.
But once the weather warms and the weekly series picks back up, bingo enthusiasts can expect the same $2-per-card regular rounds and $3-per-card blackout rounds, the same cash and consolation prize winnings, and, surely, the same promise to get mad laid.
