Vote For Portland's Hottest Restaurant

Who gets your pick for buzziest hotspot?

Next Monday, Eater will present the 2014 Eater Awards, our fifth annual celebration of all that's made America's restaurant world run - and run wild - in the past twelve months. Winners will be selected on both the local and national levels in five major categories, the voting for which is happening right now. In the past two days, votes were cast for Restaurant of the Year and Chef of the Year. Next up: So Hot Right Now.

Here's how the voting works across the board: Eater editors have named nominees for each of five major categories. Eater readers will vote, narrowing the nominees to three finalists. From those three finalists, the Eater editorial team will select a winner.

This year, the most-buzzed about hotspots are all over the map -- a Chinese restaurant that brews its own beer, an izakaya that takes its charcoal seriously, an underground bar that's become a national darling, a food cart that's bringing non-travelers to the airport, and a pizza pop-up that just added a new venue and fresh noodles from a chef with a pasta-perfect pedigree.

Ready to play your part? Scroll down and start voting. This poll will be open for 24 hours; voting irregularities will be strictly policed.
