Sip Bloody Marys While Shopping at New Indoor Farmers Market in St. Johns

When the North Portland farmers markets pack up for the winter, local residents have to hit the road if they want to shop for farm-fresh produce. But Wheelbarrow Foods has partnered with the Central Hotel in St. Johns to keep a market going all winter long — and out of the rain.

Every Saturday, they run the North Portland Indoor Market with up to 15 food and craft vendors, workshops and live music. Not only will you stay dry, but you can also partake of the hotel's full bar and restaurant while you shop. No where else in Portland can you sip a Bloody Mary while shopping for winter produce, meats and seafood, baked goods, and prepared foods like Three Little Figs Jam. It's genius.

The market runs every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Central Hotel in St. John's.
