Tasty N Sons, the ever-popular brunch and dinner spot from chef John Gorham, closed a couple weeks ago for a remodel. On Wednesday, it opened its doors, unveiling a new look and a new menu.
It's not a dramatic difference, but the bar is bigger, the red walls are now a cool gray and cream, and the space has a more modern, urban feel. Whereas the old Tasty riffed on the decor of Toro Bravo, the new Tasty looks more like the sibling to Downtown's Tasty N Alder that it is.
Take a look at the gallery and the brand-new dinner menu, which has a tighter focus than before, emphasizing "Chesapeake-style" fish and shellfish dishes. There are set daily specials, and a mix-and-match lineup of proteins and sides. As for brunch, don't worry, your favorites are all still there.
