Shake off the turkey and go have some fun.

Cooper's Hall: Today, Wednesday Nov. 26, happy hour starts early and lasts all day until 6 p.m. at Cooper's Hall. Get four free tastings of Cooper's Hall label wine, and fill up a growler from one of the 34 wine taps and you won't have to pay $6 for the refillable bottle. Also, 10 percent of all bottle sales will be donated to the Oregon Food Bank.

Rum Club: When the feast is over, grab a much-needed drink at Rum Club, which will be open on Thanksgiving night from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. with a special drink menu fittingly focused on stirred cocktails built on digestifs. You can also get 1-ounce shots of Fernet Branca for $3. 720 SE Sandy Blvd, Portland

Smallwares: Few things get oyster lovers more excited than dollar oyster happy hours. They're fairly common on the East Coast, but sadly rare here. So kudos to chef/restaurateur Johanna Ware who is making the post-Thanksgiving weekend a truly happy one with $1 oysters during her Asian-inspired brunch as well as dinner. Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 29-30. Brunch 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Dinner 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. 4605 NE Fremont St. Portland

Pix Patisserie: It's French macaron madness at Pix/Bar Vivant Saturday Nov. 30. At the Fete du Macaron you can try 30 flavors of macarons, including savory options, plus indulge in macaronuts (deep-fried macarons). Stomp on a cupcake and get a free macaron. (Really?! Can't we have both?) Saturday Nov. 29, 2 p.m.-all day; 2225 E Burnside St., Portland

Portland Flea/Emporium market: Sunday is your last chance before the holidays to hit the Portland Flea Emporium at Rejuvenation Hardware. Shop for vintage items and locally made goods, like Pigeon Toe Ceramics, Alma Chocolates and Olympic Provisions salumi while snacking on baked goods. Sunday Nov. 30, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.; 1100 S.E. Grand Ave., Portland

Distillery Row's Black Friday: At the Shopping Party at the Melody Ballroom in SE Portland, sample and purchase bottled spirits from seven Distillery Row distilleries, plus favorite food artisans like Portland Bitters Project, Masala Pop, Marshall's Haute Sauce, Portland Creamery, Salt & Straw Ice Cream, and Pok Pok Som Drinking Vinegars. Friday Nov. 28, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; 615 SE Alder St., Portland
