Muselet's Harvest Wine Dinners Offer Taste of What's to Come

New, 1 comment

Taste chef William Harper's autumn dishes, sip local wines, and meet the winemakers who made them.

If you're curious about Muselet, the restaurant with a sparkling-wine fetish that's slated to open at the Southwest Waterfront in December, now's your chance to get an early taste.

Friday Nov. 7 and Saturday Nov. 8, chef William Harper and restaurateur/wine steward Ron Acierto are offering harvest wine dinners with wine pairings at Park Kitchen. On Friday, Beaux Freres Vineyards and Coattails Winery are the featured wines, and their winemakers will be on hand to talk with guests about the pairings. On Saturday, the menu will be paired with selections from Willamette Valley Vineyards, and founder Jim Bernau will be there to talk with guests.

The six-course dinner will showcase autumnal ingredients like root vegetables, mushrooms, persimmons, and duck.

Two more dinners are scheduled for Nov. 14 and 15, with location, wines and menu to be announced.

Cost is $110 per person, including pairings, but not gratuity. Dinner starts at 7 p.m. Reserve at spot by emailing ron@museletpdx.com or call 503-706-4671.
