You can't call them New York style, but you will call them delicious. Spielman Bagels, the wild-yest-leavened, honey-touched footnotes that were so good they became a mainstay of the SE Division coffee roaster, are now available downtown.
Spielman recently took over the Tastebud cart at SW 10th and Alder, keeping the bagel love alive for busy office workers and students on the go. The cart is serving up its small-batch, shade-grown coffee, plus bagels, cream cheese, lox, and egg sandwiches. They'll even cater your office meetings.
