Elm Coffee Opens in Pioneer Square; Where to Eat in Seattle on Christmas

FREMONT — Seattle's Paseo saga is headed toward a happy ending, but the city is still in mourning for Dot's, the deli and bistro that sat across the street from Paseo until it shuttered last summer. Now comes word that a new Japanese concept, Suga, will open shop in the space by the end of January. Eater Seattle has details.

PIONEER SQUARE — Seattle welcomed Elm Coffee this week.The microroaster from an alum of Joe in NYC and a former Stumptown roaster switched on the lights in Pioneer Square next to Mike Easton's excellent Pizzeria Gabbiano and the gorgeous new Good Bar.
