Although we won't be truly satisfied until Apizza Scholls is open 24 hours a day, we'll applaud their recent foray into the lunch bunch — even if it is only on the weekends.
On Saturday Dec 20, the SE Hawthorne Pizza icon, which is consistently ranked among the very best in Portland, launched its weekend lunch. Available on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., it should alleviate some of the Saturday night crush. Maybe. Or at least give those craving their blistered pizzas on the weekend the chance to actually get some.
Apizza Scholls has teased at offering lunch before, but it looks like this time it's for real.
