Eight-year-old Thirst Wine Bar and Bistro is a popular fixture at the South Waterfront, and now owner Leslie Palmer has spun off a grab-and-go market and bottle shop next door.
On Dec. 17 Thirst: Local to Go opened its doors, giving South Waterfront residents a place pick up locally made beer, wine and snacks, including Ancient Heritage cheese, Chop salumi, and favorites from the bistro like crab dip and stuffed dates.
There are around 80 bottled wines, plus 10 taps with six wines and four beers to sip onsite or take home in a growler.
The space was built out using reclaimed materials, and there's room for guests to hang out with a glass of wine or a cocktail. It's available for private parties, as well.
