New American, Aaron and Faith Dionne's slow-food-fast restaurant they opened earlier this month, has announced a few new changes.

First up: chef Nathaniel Price has stepped down from his chef de cuisine role at Grain and Gristle to join the team in New American's kitchen. "It suits him well since he's stepping back due to his new baby," says Faith.

The restaurant has also expanded its hours. It's now open for dinner every night, with happy hour from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. daily and weekend brunch. Think dishes like cheddar biscuits baked with chicken and gravy, polenta cakes topped with smoked pork, red sauce, and a fried egg, and housemade buttermilk doughnuts.

To-go dinners are at the crux of the restaurant's concept, and Faith says their website now allows online ordering and live menu tracking.
