Music Millennium is Adding a Bar

We'd like to give a hearty round of applause to Music Millennium for adding something that, really, every store should have: a bar.

The legendary, landmark music store on East Burnside is planning to install a coffee, beer, and wine bar, according to owner Terry Currier. "There will not be seating, but customers will be able to get those, and non-alcoholic beverages, while they shop," he says. It's genius — especially considering the store often hosts live performances.

They're currently awaiting OLCC approval, and shooting to have the bar up and running by March. Expect coffee from nearby Oblique Coffee Roasters on Stark, as well as six local taps, including at least one exlusive brew. "We'll be working with a brewer to make a special beer for the store," says Currier.
