Portlanders may not put away their jeans and plaid for the symphony or ballet. But they'll do it for Reese Witherspoon.
The Hollywood actress was in town last night for the premiere of "Wild," based on Portland resident Cheryl Strayed's best-selling memoir. There was a red carpet, paparazzi, suits, ties, and designer dresses. In other words, it wasn't like Portland at all. Except for the giant Voodoo Doughnut.
Witherspoon and fellow star Laura Dern showed off the hefty frosted creation via Twitter.

You can always count on Voodoo's fried dough to keep Portland weird — and real.
And if you're keeping track of celebrity restaurant recommendations, Witherspoon reportedly favors Pok Pok (duh) and Tasty N Alder.
