The long-awaited, 10-plus-years-in-the-making James Beard Public Market is going to happen, people. Probably. More than likely. In fact, there's now a fancy design house on board. Now that's serious progress.
And part of that progress is a forum this Saturday that's open to the public. You, yes you, can chime in on what you think the market should look like. On Dec. 13 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at OMSI, you can learn more about the market, meet the design team from Snohetta, and share your ideas about the design. The presentation begins at 2:30 p.m., and the event is free and open to all ages. There will also be food from local producers, and a cookie decorating station to entertain your kids. Visitors are encouraged to RSVP, and you can do so here.
