Zwickelmania on Saturday; Yeomans' Supper Series

EVERYWHERE— The annual day-long brewery fest known as Zwickelmania is set for tomorrow, February 15, with more than 50 Portland-area breweries opening their doors for free tours, samples, and other celebratory events. The full line-up is available here, but among the deals to be had: The east side's Rogue Green Dragon will hold a $10 Zwickel brunch; Old Town's Pints will pour two-for-one growler fills; and the Pearl's BridgePort brewpub will offer $3.50 imperial pints of its 30th anniversary ale. MOUNT TABORFarmer's Feast chef Kathryn Yeomans will team with SE Hawthorne's Tabor Bread for a recurring supper series focused on locally grown grains. The Whole Grain Supper Series will kick off on Friday, February 28 with a three-course dinner highlighting rye; future dinners, in the final Friday of each month, will feature buckwheat and Fife wheat.
