The IACP has just announced its 2014 Food Writing Award finalists, which include a few notable Portlanders. Gabriel Rucker's Le Pigeon cookbook was nominated in the "Chefs and Restaurants" category, but as Eater National points out, Andy Ricker's critically acclaimed Pok Pok cookbook was shut out of the cookbook awards. Ricker does pick up an "Instructional Culinary Writing" nomination, however, for his curry guide published in Saveur. [-EN-]
