Atomic Pizza Taking Over Former DiPrima Dolci Space

The N. Killingsworth space long home to DiPrima Dolci (which closed in early January of this year) will soon welcome another pizzeria: The five-year-old Atomic Pizza announced it will soon move its flagship location one block up the street into the DiPrima space, launching a Kickstarter campaign to assist with moving costs. According to co-owner Jenna Forzley, the DiPrima space — which Atomic is purchasing — is quadruple the size of Atomic's current N. Killingsworth location, and the pizza shop plans to revamp the existing dining room, adding counter seating and room for larger groups.

DiPrima Dolci shuttered after an 11-year run in North Portland. Atomic Pizza debuted in 2009, and opened its second location in the Hollywood District in March 2013. The restaurant is currently seeking $32,500 via its Kickstarter campaign; no timeline for the move has been set yet.
