Paleo-friendly burger joint Dick's Kitchen will soon open its third Portland location in the burgeoning Woodstock neighborhood. According to a press release, founder Richard Satnick (also the mastermind behind health-conscious chainlet Laughing Planet) will bring his menu of grass-fed burgers, kale salads, and vegan milkshakes to a space on SE Woodstock Boulevard, a stone's throw from the just-announced new location of Grand Central Bakery.
According to the official announcement, early plans for the new space "include a commissary and a community kitchen for recipe testing and classes with health practitioners, authors, and leaders in the healthy eating movement." Dick's opened its first location on SE Belmont in 2010, following it up with a NW Portland restaurant in November 2011. In 2012, Satnick sold his stake in the Laughing Planet chain, citing plans to expand the Dick's Kitchen concept.
Dick's Kitchen Woodstock plans a late spring/early summer opening. Updates as they become available.
