1) Beaverton: The Lake Oswego-based bakery La Provence announced plans to open its fourth Portland-area location, at Beaverton's Progress Ridge TownSquare. According to a press release, La Provence Boulangerie & Patisserie will open a 4,800-square-foot bakery "near the lake, adjacent to the small vineyard." In addition to La Provence's familiar pastries, Benedicts, and Monte Cristos, the Beaverton location will focus on "Champagne, mimosas, and a breakfast-type bar." Projected opening: mid-May. 2) Northeast: The magical world of liquor license applications reveals that Tarboush Lebanese Bistro is planning a restaurant in the North Tabor neighborhood, in the 30-seat space that once, well, housed Falafel House. [EaterWire]

3) Lake Oswego: Local chainlet Bambuza Vietnam Kitchen will open its fourth area location at Lake Oswego's still-under-construction Kruse Village, the large restaurant/retail complex that will also house outposts of the Original Wow! Burger, Ava Roasteria, and Strada. Bambuza has signed on for a 1,100-square-foot space serving banh mi and noodle bowls; the Kruse complex is scheduled to open in Spring 2015. [EaterWire]
