FOREST GROVE— This one's a couple weeks away, but a mini road trip requires some extra planning: Nostrana chef Cathy Whims curates an afternoon of feasting at Forest Grove's Montinore Estate on Sunday, February 16, as part of the Maialata festival, a traditional celebration of all things pork. The day-long event features pasta-making classes, butchery, and charcuterie-making with Whims and a slew of guest chefs, including Ned Ludd's Jason French and Italian guests Francesca and Tommaso Tori. Guests at the day-long event get access to the hands-on seminars, Montinore wine, and the day-ending "Grand Feast."
