VIDEO INTERLUDE— As part of a project with the Portland Center Stage, Noble Rot/Nobleoni chef (and noted storyteller) Leather Storrs rehashes what the stage calls his "BestWorstDay," which just happened to have taken place while Storrs worked in the kitchen of Thomas Keller's lauded the French Laundry. Storrs recounts a particular stormy day that say the French Laundry kitchen flood in the middle of service; of Keller's managerial approach, Storrs jokingly calls it "fairly subtle but painful psychological warfare." Go, watch. [Vimeo]
