Does size matter? Probably, when it comes to calzones. Eater now humbly celebrates Calzone Power Hour by sizing up some calzones around town:
[Avila, EPDX]
NE's Good Neighbor Pizzeria offers a "mini calzone" on its menu, but this ain't it: This "regular-sized" Italian sausage and mushroom calzone nearly busted out of its take-out box, measuring 10.5 inches long and seven inches wide. It weighed in at 26 ounces and arrived with two cups of marinara for dipping. At $11, Good Neighbor's calzone clocked in at 42 cents per ounce.
