In direct response to La Taq's recent assertion that puffy tacos were "rarely seen outside of San Antonio," the Oregonian's Michael Russell taste-tests five versions around town: Or rather, versions of Yucatecan salbutes, the fried tortillas described as "the original original puffy taco." Among them were a "greasy spoon version" at Taqueria Hermanos Serralta, and shredded chicken topped salbutes at Angel Food & Fun, described as "some of the city's best." [OregonLive]
