Chef Erik Van Kley has launched a multi-course prix fixe menu at downtown's Little Bird Bistro, but don't call it a chef's tasting. Instead, the "Bistro Menu" will feature a mix of classic dishes and newish specials, with the five courses changing daily. (The inaugural version offers pan-roasted grouper with asparagus; a duck, pork belly, and sausage cassoulet; and both a cheese and dessert course.) The menu costs $65, with an optional $30 wine pairing. More information here. [EaterWire]
