Coffee Wars

Because independent coffee shops provide signs of "positive markers of a living community," online mapping project You Are Here has released an interactive map of all of Portland's indie coffee shops, highlighting the walkability factor of each in their respective neighborhoods. Unsurprisingly, the highest coffee shop density appears to be on the west side. [YAH via Eater National]
