DOWNTOWN— Hotel Monaco's Red Star Tavern has just completed an interior revamp that sees the addition of 40 seats in its bar area, plus a new bar menu featuring drinks made tableside and "veggie cocktails," aka boozy drinks using fresh vegetable juices. The new bar menus launch next week, and to celebrate, the Red Star will offer "throwback" menu pricing all during happy hour: From May 5 through 10, expect $3 food specials, $3 beer and wine, and $5 cocktail specials.
