SE 82nd's Cartlandia pod hosts a weekly screening of Portlandia under its beer tent, so WWeek attends a few installments to see how the show plays to a neighborhood that's decidedly more blue-collar than the "dystopian hipster playland in which Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein exist." One pod patron and recent transplant is asked if the Portlandia stereotype is accurate. His response: "We can't even afford to live in that part of Portland. So now we live off Flavel between a meth dealer and some old people." [WW]
