Silver Moon Creperie Batters Up on N. Mississippi

A N. Mississippi storefront has swapped one sweet concept for another: As previously reported, the former Honey Pot Bakery space has welcomed a sweet-and-savory crepe restaurant, Silver Moon Creperie, which opened its doors earlier this month. Co-owners/ontime New Englanders Chris and Theresa Therrien brought over several elements from their original New Hampshire creperie — including a moon-depicting stained glass window — but describe the 25-seat, family friendly space as "a bit more colorful," with alternating walls of yellow, green, and blue.

The lengthy menu features more than 50 crepe options: Sweet varieties like cajeta, lingonberry with whipped cream, and lemon cream with blueberries; and savory options like egg, ham, and Swiss; turkey, cheddar, and olive tapenade; and a "classico" salami, ham, mozzarella, tomato, and hot pepperoncini. (Crepes can also be made vegan and/or gluten-free upon request, and gluten-free guests can pair their crepes with one of three local ciders on tap.)

Silver Moon is open now. Hours of operation: 10a.m. to 4p.m., Wednesday through Sunday.
