Call it a miracle: Saint Cupcake has been resurrected. The Oregonian reports that after shuttering its downtown location in December 2013 and revamping its SE Belmont store into a sweet shop called Sprinklefingers, founder Jami Curl has sold the company to new owners, who will re-open both as Saint Cupcakes in the coming weeks. According to the O, Alex and Julie Bond (who also own NW 21st Italian restaurant Serratto) now own the brand, and plan to use Curl's cupcake recipes to restore Saint Cupcake back to its original glory.
Curl originally closed her popular bakery to focus on her artisan candy brand Quin. But Saint Cupcake will rise from the ashes soon: Sprinklefingers "will revert back to Saint Cupcake this week and the Morrison St. location will reopen sometime in June. "
