Salt & Straw at Lincoln; RingSide's Anniversary Dinners

N. WILLIAMS— In a now-annual toast to summer, scoop shop Salt & Straw joins forces with Lincoln chef Jenn Louis for a collaborative dinner that features something frozen in each course. S&S's Tyler Malek will team with Louis on Wednesday, June 4, to craft a family-style menu featuring a strawberry, lardo, and mint salad (paired with avocado dippin' dots) and a pork osso buco with roasted carrot soft serve. W. BURNSIDERingSide Steakhouse will kick off a summer's worth of 70th-anniversary celebrations with two guest-chef dinners at its W. Burnside location. On Sunday, June 1, the Woodsman Tavern's Andrew Gregory and Duane Sorenson will co-host the multi-course dinner; Toro Bravo's John Gorham will collaborate on the menu for a Sunday, June 8 event. VARIOUS LOCATIONS— Chef Pascal Chureau's roving "Dinners in the Field" series has announced its summer 2014 line-up, which will bring the Allium Bistro chef to outdoor locations around Oregon. Chureau and his Field & Vine team will serve seven-course pairing dinners at locales like Oregon City's Christopher Bridge Winery, Sherwod's Beckham Estate Vineyard, and (in the upcoming event, on June 8), Forest Grove's Tualatin Estate Vineyard.
