Here's a brief but beautiful trailer for the full-length documentary A Film About Coffee, which will celebrate its Portland premiere tonight (Thursday, May 29) at the Laurelhurst Theater. In the film — described as "an adventure in search of the ultimate cup" — director Brandon Loper visited coffee farms in Rwanda and Honduras, then traced the beans to acclaimed roasteries like San Francisco's Blue Bottle and Portland's own Stumptown Coffee Roasters.
Before tonight's screening, Stumptown will dole out cups of the Rwanda Huye Mountain coffee that's featured in the film, and Loper will be on-hand for a post-screening Q&A. Tickets to the premiere are available here, but first, check out the trailer:
