On Friday evening, the James Beard Foundation announced the winners of the 2014 James Beard Foundation Book, Broadcast & Journalism Awards, and Andy Ricker now has a second Beard to call his own: Ricker took home the prize in the "Cooking, Recipes, or Instruction" category for a piece published in Saveur.
