This Weekend's WhiskeyFest NW; Pacific Pie's Anniversary

PEARL DISTRICT— Happy whiskey weekend, everybody: The second-annual WhiskeyFest NW sets up shop in the Pearl District tonight and tomorrow (May 9 and 10), with more than 100 distilleries offering tastes of their ryes, single-malts, and cask-strengths. To pass the time in between tastes, the event also promises live music, cigar tents, a mechanical bull, and food vendors by the likes of Pok Pok, Raven & Rose, and Ataula. Tickets are $25 (which includes three tastes); more information here. [EaterWire]
