DEPOE BAY— Need a coastal vacation in a couple weeks? Tickets are still available to the first-ever Chefs Go Coastal weekend at Depoe Bay's Restaurant Beck, which will see several Portland chefs road-tripping out to the coast for three days of collaborative dinners. Tickets to each evening's dinner are available a la carte: Aaron Barnett (St. Jack), Katy Millard (Coquire Supper Club), Anthony Cafiero (Racion), and Brian McCracken and Dana Tough (of Seattle's Spur) are among the chefs joining host Justin Wills for the dinners; the final Day Three event features all participating chefs serving a 12-course meal. More information and tickets here. [EaterWire]
E. BURNSIDE— Portland Beer Week hit its halfway point yesterday with no signs of slowing: The line-up for this Friday, June 13's Rye Beer Fest has been announced, and 22 rye beers (from the likes of Old Town, Oakshire, Agrarian Ales, and Vagabond) will take over the taps at EastBurn. Samples and full pints will be available for sale, and a portion of proceeds will benefit the Children's Cancer Association. More information here. [EaterWire]
SOUTHWEST— At the Oregon College of Art and Craft, chef Leather Storrs's on-campus dining option Nobleoni has announced it'll start dinner service next Thursday, June 19: Expect a condensed menu of three rotating appetizers, entrees, and desserts. The sister cafe to Storrs's Noble Rot will also begin serving beer and wine, with plans to launch a full bar program soon. [EaterWIre]
