Idaho-based chainlet Boise Fry Company will open its first Portland location on W. Burnside, across the street from Providence Park: A rep confirms a "locally owned" outpost BFC will debut later this summer at the corner of 19th and W. Burnside. Unsurprisingly, the Fry Company menu focuses on a half-dozen potato varieties (russet, purple, gold, sweet, okinawa, and yam) prepared in different fry shapes (shoestring, "homestyle," curly), plus burgers and salads.
