In what's become a tradition, restaurateurs Micah Camden and Katie Poppe (Little Big Burger, Boxer Ramen, Blue Star Donuts) will celebrate the opening of their newest restaurant by giving away free food — in this case, 1,000 fried chicken meals. Eat Beat reports the duo's hotly anticipated SE DIvision restaurant Son of a Biscuit will dole out meal of fried chicken, biscuit, and side to the first 1,000 people to visit tomorrow (Saturday, June 21) starting at 2p.m. (Camden had previously debuted Son of a Biscuit's chicken during a one-off pop-up at the Pearl's River Pig Saloon.)
Saturday will bring free fried chicken pandemonium, but Son of a Biscuit will officially open next Wednesday, June 25 at noon; stay tuned for a look inside.
