1) Central Eastside Industrial: Okay, it actually opens tomorrow (Wednesday, June 4), but Bend-based beer retailer the Growler Guys is set to debut in the Central Eastside building that houses Grand Central Bowl. Owners Brendan Cocks and Kourtney Nelson promise 48 beers and ciders on tap (representing Portland, national, and international beers), with plans to host several brewery/brewer events at the shop's bar. (The first event, featuring six beers by the Commons Brewery, is set for this Friday, June 6). The full taplist will go live tomorrow; more information here. [EaterWire]
2) Northeast: The second Portland location of TarBoush Lebanese Bistro is now open on NE Glisan Street. Neighborhood Notes reports the 34-seat restaurant — which takes over the former Falafel Hut space at Glisan and NE 57th — serves lunch, happy hour, and dinner, and many dishes would be familiar to fans of TarBoush's SE Hawthorne restaurant: shawarma, kafta, and samboussek. Hours of operation: 11a.m. to 9p.m., Monday through Friday; noon to 9p.m., Saturday and Sunday. More information here. [NN]
3) SE Belmont: That was fast: Just days after announcing the resurrection of the Saint Cupcake brand, the switcheroo is already complete at the SE Belmont storefront that had morphed from Saint Cupcake to Sprinklefingers, and now back to Saint Cupcake. Hours of operation: 11a.m. to 7p.m., Monday through Saturday; 11a.m. to 5p.m., Sunday. [EaterWire]
