SE HAWTHORNE— The sandwich-slingers at Lardo will celebrate the most recent line-up of its "Chefwich" series with a tasting party this Sunday, June 8 at the Southeast location. The $20 entry fee gets guests tastes of all six guest sandwiches that have dotted the Lardo menu in the past six months (check out the line-up at right), while Bend's Crux Fermentation Project engages in a tap takeover. Those who collected Chefwich punch cards — and ate all six sandwiches in-restaurant — get in for free. [EaterWire]
OLD TOWN— As part of a fundraiser for Hellion Gallery's annual public art event Forest for the Trees, Nong's Khao Man Gai's Nong Poonsukwattana will serve a rare multi-course dinner in the gallery's Old Town space on Friday, June 27. "Reservations" to the three-course meal are only available via a donation to Matt Wagner and Gage Hamilton's IndieGoGo campaign. More information here. [EaterWire]
