A shift to report behind the bar at St. Jack: Bartender-about-town Alan Akwai (most recently of Raven & Rose) has taken over the Lyonnaise bistro's bar program, replacing John Salas. Among Akwai's new drinks: A "Santa Cruz Fix" with blackstrap rum, lime, fresh pineapple syrup, and Curaçao over crushed ice; Akwai also promises a Champagne Punch will hit the menu sometime "later this season."
