1) NW/Alphabet District: The second Portland location of Grant's Philly Cheesesteaks opened up shop on NW 23rd Avenue earlier this month, taking over the space once home to Hala's Lebanese Grill. The restaurant joins Grant's other location on NE Sandy Boulevard, offering the namesake sandwich (topped with the diner's choice of provolone, cheddar, cream cheese, American cheese, or Cheez Whiz), burgers, hot dogs, and fries. Hours of operation: 11a.m. to 9p.m., Monday through Friday; 11a.m. to 7p.m., Sunday. [EaterWire]
2) West End: The third location of cycle-powered smoothie cart Moberi has set up shop inside West End Bikes: The popular bike shop swaps its coffee counter (which was previously run by the likes of Heart and Maglia Rosa) with Moberi's bike-blended smoothies and acai bowls. The smoothie bar will officially celebrate its grand opening this Saturday, July 26. Hours of operation: 11a.m. to 4p.m., Monday through Saturday; noon to 4p.m., Sunday. [EaterWire]
3) Vancouver: The team behind Beaverton's Taste of Sichuan has opened a location across the river in Vancouver. A comparison of the two menus reveals Taste will bring its complete lineup of familiar dishes — soup dumplings, hand-shaved noodles, the "Walk on the Wild Side" menu — to its Vancouver location. Taste of Sichuan Vancouver is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week; more information here. [EaterWire]
