PoMo's Endless Summer BBQ; Burrasca's Wine Dinner

SOUTH WATERFRONTPortland Monthly will take over the waterfront's Zidell Yards on August 9 for its second-annual Endless Summer BBQ, featuring a half-dozen restaurants grilling up dishes in an outdoor celebration. "Barbecue artists" from Bunk, Clyde Common, Imperial, Podnah's Pit, Taqueria Nueve, and Ya Hala will be on-hand with food, while four bartenders will compete in a Margarita competition. Tickets are $30 for both barbecue and margs (or $25 without margaritas), and additional beer and wine will be available for purchase. SOUTHEAST— Buzzy food cart Burrasca will team with nearby wine bar VINO for a multi-course pairing dinner tonight, July 31. Dinner starts at 6:30p.m. and tickets are still available: The four-course dinner will feature dishes like spinach and ricotta ravioli, grilled pork ribs with panzanella, and an apple tart dessert.
