DIVISION/CLINTON— The pie-making experts at SE Division's Lauretta Jean's will celebrate the season with a Summer Fruit Pie Party this Thursday, August 28: The all-night event will feature happy hour pricing on pie slices and cocktails, "millions of peaches" on the menu, and specially created "dream pies" suggested by LJ fans. CENTRAL EASTSIDE INDUSTRIAL— The annual Time-Based Art Festival (TBA:14) returns on September 11, and this year, its opening-night dinner will come in the form of a "nomadic block party" talking place at the Works. Chef Stacey Givens of the Side Yard Farm will serve as many as 400 guests during a cocktail hour and family-style supper, featuring dishes like porchetta with smoked grapes, grilled endive and lemons, and an autumn torte for dessert.
